Why Did I Get Suspended?

Google rarely tells you the exact reason, but it's usually one of these:

• Address Issues: Using a P.O. Box, UPS Store, or a residential address without hiding it (if you are a service area business).
• Service Area Radius: Setting your service area to "The Entire United States" or a radius larger than 2 hours driving distance. Keep it local.
• Duplicate Listings: Creating a second listing for the same business to rank in another city.

The Reinstatement Process

1. Do Not Create a New Listing. That will get you permanently banned.
2. Fix the Issue. Rename your business to match your legal LLC name exactly. Hide your address if you work from home.
3. Submit the Reinstatement Form. Google will ask for proof.

Writing the Appeal: Be professional. "I realized my business name did not match my license perfectly. I have corrected this error to comply with guidelines. Attached is my business license proving my legal name is Joe's Plumbing LLC." Don't argue; just correct and verify.

Proof You Need

When you submit the appeal, attach:

• Business License / LLC registration
• Utility Bill with the business name and address
• Photos of your branded truck
• Photos of your tools/equipment

The goal is to prove you are a legitimate business, not a lead gen spammer.

Once you are back online, don't touch the core info (Name, Address, Phone, Category) unless absolutely necessary. Frequent changes to these fields can trigger another suspension. Focus on posting photos and getting reviews - those are safe actions.
